Service Description

*Important* This is a five week course designed for potters who have attended our introductory course or a similar course elsewhere. The focus is on refining skills, and understanding more complex forms such as lidded vessels, tall and closed forms. Your teacher will work with you to overcome any throwing issues you have been experiencing. At the end of the course, you should expect to have produced a range of food-safe and dishwasher-safe ceramics. A course curriculum will be provided prior to commencement. Each student has a wheel for their exclusive use during throwing classes. The class meets every Wednesday from 6pm to 8.30pm from April 24 - May 22. Students will be part of a community studio and participate in tidying their tools and space at the end of class. Suitable for persons aged 16 and over. Course cancellations require one week notice. Make-up sessions cannot be provided for missed classes. Taught by Lindsay Descovich.
